The Matineecast closes up shop at the 43rd annual Toronto International Film Festival by sitting down with family.

Taking part in these filmgoing shenanigans every autumn would probably feel isolating if my partner-in-crime didn’t partake with me. Even if we find ourselves running in opposite circles, there’s something special about knowing that it’s a common passion leading us around those circles.

If we sound weary…well…it’s because we are. Still though, TIFF is littered with moments like this where Lindsay and I catch-up with each other late at night or early in the morning, so if this podcast is all about sharing the festival experience, moments like these are very much part of it.
