We now return to our regularly scheduled blog.(Seriously – I could not say the word “Oscar” for another year and live a very happy twelve months). If there’s one international director I gravitate towards more than any other, it’s Pedro Almodovar. I can’t quite put my finger on why, but perhaps it’s because his characters…
Soldier On – INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS Trailer
This summer, Quentin Tarantino returns with his fifth/sixth film (depending on if you count the KILL BILL movies as one or two). INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS features a cast that includes Brad Pitt, Diane Kruger, Eli Roth, Mike Myers, Samuel L. Jackson, Cloris Leachman, and Maggie Cheung. What interests me, is the fact that Quentin has been…
Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ The Boat (THE BOAT THAT ROCKED Trailer)
Edit: I’m aware that I’ve been “phoning it in” for much of the new year. I must beg forgiveness as it’s a busy time for me at the day job and my brain is fried by the time I sit down to write. All apologies for the sporadic posting that’ll happen for the next ten…
Could You be Loved? (I LOVE YOU, MAN Trailer)
For any guy who’s ever found himself part of a bro-mance…this one’s for you.
Hungry Like a Wolf (X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE Trailer)

Machinehead (TERMINATOR: SALVATION Trailer)
Kinda funny. After the silliness of TERMINATOR 3, I found myself wondering why in the world anyone would want to keep this franchise going. Now after watching the trailer for the upcoming fourth installment, I can’t wait to see it! PS…No word yet as to whether or not Arnold will make a cameo as the…
Killing In the Name – WHAT DOESN’T KILL YOU TRAILER
At this year’s Toronto International Film festival, one of the more emotional nights was the evening where WHAT DOESN’T KILL YOU premiered. The movie is the life story of actor/director Brian Goodman, and while it might well remind you of another movie or two you’ve seen lately, that doesn’t make it any less potent or…
