Suddenly I See (Thoughts on TIFF Day 7)

All afternoon I’d been wondering about what sort of TIFF update I wanted to write today. In the end, indecision has won out. So rather than give you a few hundred words on my experiences over the last day, I figured I’d let the pictures do the talking for once.

First from last night’s premiere of SYNECDOCHE NEW YORK, the always awesome Catherine Keener… …and Oscar winner Phillip Seymor Hoffman.

But of course, the real star of the night, was creative brain extraordinaire Charlie Kaufman…

This evening at the premiere of WHAT DOESN’T KILL YOU, Mark Ruffalo worked the red carpet (that’s his wife to the left)…

…along with his co-star in the movie Ethan Hawke.

Finally, when the evening started, director Brian Goodman was truly moved that such a big crowd had turned out for the premiere of his directorial debut…especially since the plot was based on his life story.
