Ryan McNeilIt feels like it’s been forever since I posted a trailer on this blog! What can I say – year end lists just take priority.
So Kevin Smith, remember him? I’ll wager many of you tuned out from his View Askewniverse after DOGMA…maybe even after CHASING AMY. But the guy is still out there makin’ movies, and he’s got a new one coming out soon, and it’s a buddy cop flick in the spirit of LETHAL WEAPON. Personally, I’m disappointed that he couldn’t get away with his original title, A COUPLE OF DICKS, especially considering the eventual winner of a title…
This trailer did nothing for me. I'm an absolute huge fan of Clerks (1 more so than 2 but still both) and have seen Dogma countless times (still think it's hilarious)….
I'm just not sure about this trailer. I've never been big on Tracey Morgan, and it looks like his act is going to be running rampant throughout.
I'm hoping a Red Band trailer that shows something more than what this has to show. This trailer bumped this movie from most to not anticipated films.
I'm with Univarn on the Red Band trailer, otherwise, think I'll be skipping it. Wish they kept the original title, too, but the new one's pretty clever.
I didn’t see Jersey Girl but was back onboard for Clerks II and Zack and Miri Make a Porno, I enjoyed both particularly the latter. For me his best film is a tossup between Dogma and Chasing Amy (yes better than Clerks!). I will give this one a chance.
I can wait for video, but it looks like silly fun.
Seems like a movie thats been made lots of times before. I agree on the title though…
@ Univarn… Usually I find that Tracy can only play Tracy, even if he does give me a few laughs on 30 Rock.
I'm betting a red band will surface eventually.
@ Aiden… Smith was probably tired after fighting the MPAA on ZACK & MIRI to go at 'em again for the original title.
Makes me wonder if the new title is actually telling us something of his attitude making this?
