Well this day of self discovery can’t totally be spent in my sweats watching FACE/OFF while polishing off a bucket of Ben & Jerry’s. It’s time to return to a feature that when on hiatus for Oscar week. Time to get back into the swing.

For your reading and listening fulfillment, I give you…

Okay, first things first. It was a bummer of a week for me as a podcaster and podcast listener – not one but two of my favorite shows called it a day. They were both the creations of some great people, and always a source of energy and amusement for me. So if you haven’t listened to the final episode of Simon & Jo yet, do so…and then make sure you tune into the final episode of The Film Cynics this coming weekend.

Sasha the Final Girl has seen PAUL already. Looks like she dug it!

Univarn wonders why we carry ourselves in certain conversations the way we do.

Moon In The Gutter has done one of their “Operation Screenshot” posts on Gus Van Sant’s MILK…and has included one of my favorite shots of all time.

Courtney doesn’t care what you think – he still loves these films.

Before we completely move on from awards season, Sebastian wants to remind you of those that were overlooked.

Nick’s 60/60 series is continuing, and he had a big week by finding that he really dug a classic that even I don’t much enjoy.

Finally James from Cinemasights has written a great piece for The Reelists comparing two of my favorite films – SAVING PRIVATE RYAN and THE THIN RED LINE.

Enjoy!
