I’m usually not a big Carey Mulligan fan but I’ve noticed she has something that a lot of British actresses do: they play American characters better than British ones.
Also, condom over condom over electric tape is already the line of the year. Had this character been around in 2005 I would never have had to make unnecessary trips to the doctor.

I don’t think her character work in DRIVE or SHAME was better than her character work in AN EDUCATION or NEVER LET ME GO.
