Thoughts From Your Host…

Welcome back, everyone. September was a rush and October promises to be more of the same. But one can only surrender to the rush for so long before one needs to turn the mic back on.

So we return to the matter at-hand…and in this case “the matter at hand” seems to have been discussed for the entire time we’ve been on break! From the moment the film in this episode debuted at TIFF up until this very moment it has been the source of much hand-wringing, preaching, pontificating, yelling, belitting, and all sorts of other “ings”.

Here we are ready to dig into it on-mic, a mere three days after it opened, and it already feels like we’re a year late to the discussion.

Nevertheless, we carry forth.

One detail that didn’t make the edit was Lindsay’s suggestions of the best Joker comics that one could read instead of watching the new film. Those titles include A Death in The Family, Death of The Family, Lovers and Madmen, and The Killing Joke,
