Thoughts From Your Host…

Twelve years ago this week, I started this little movie-loving experiment. At first I relied on the written word, but in very short order the podcast you’re currently tuned into followed.

Time flies when you’re having fun!

Were it not for this passion project of mine, I likely never would have met today’s guest…or most of the voices that have joined me for more than 200 episodes. So many of those voices – and certainly the one you hear today – have had a profound impact on my life. It’s the craziest thing: I started talking to most of these people because of a shared passion, only to quickly learn that passion or no passion they were incredible people.

It seldom matters if we agree when we get together. It seldom matters if the movie we get together to watch and/or talk about is good. All that matters is that we all get together, and that we continue to get together.

So thanks to my guest for a great show and a great friendship. Thanks to anyone who has come to talk or come to listen. And thanks for a fantastic twelve years!

Here’s to many more.
