When I think of the film up for discussion today, I think of a perfect candidate. I think of a film that had good things and bad things – a film I enjoyed the experience of, but wasn’t over the moon about.

When I think about the guest on today’s episode, I think about a wonderful co-pilot. I think of a person I know really well, who is both amiable and intelligent. I think about a person whose influence on my life and passion is immeasurable.

When I think about a great year’s worth of episodes, I think I couldn’t have done any better. I think about some fabulous indie choices, peppered with some interesting mainstream choices. I think about a channel of the site I was able to keep up with even when other channels were failing me. I think a choice to take a few weeks off and having the hiatus work to the show’s advantage.

In short – I couldn’t think of a better podcasting Christmas gift than this film, this guest, and this year’s worth of shows. To whichever Podcasting Santa put me on the “Nice List” for such a gift, I owe you so much more than milk and cookies.
