I could use this space to go on and on about how odd it is to record before I write. I could use it to extoll the virtues of catching up with old friends. I could even use it to ask aloud how I got this far into the life of a podcast before using Zappa as bed music.
However, what I think I want to express most is how much I loved the film up for discussion today, and indeed the discussion it provoked.

I was left very conflicted by Moonlight. I liked the film, however I believe the “Best Film of the Year” praise is a bit unfounded. I believe it’s a well done character study and that’s it.
