For four years now, the local film enthusiasts have been filling out surveys at year-end, coming to some sort of consensus for the best films of the year. We call ’em the CAST Awards (Cinema Appreciation Society of Toronto).

In addition to rattling off ten films that tickled our fancy the most, the locals have also made it tradition to sit down in January and roll tape on the ins and outs of the films discussed. This year we got a little carried away and managed to turn in the longest version yet. So listen in as we choke on crackers, cough in our port, and pick on each other for what we got wrong.
