There were several films from last year’s TIFF slate that I was disappointed that I couldn’t work into my schedule. This might have taken the number one seed on that list.

One of the main reasons that I wish I could have worked it in, is because last autumn, it allowed viewers the opportunity to see the story two different ways; once with Conor’s perspective coming first, and then once with Eleanor’s perspective coming first. The idea that one’s take on the whole situation could be slanted depending on which story they heard first is a pretty cool narrative trick…and one I do wish had of made the jump to the film’s release.

I guess I’ll have to make do with whatever order The Weinsteins figure best suits the film.
