It was a busy week for me movie-wise, and that trend looks to continue as a lot of great screenings will be happening in the city soon. All of this in addition to a lot of dvd watching to get through the home stretch of The Film Locker (you listenin?).

In OCD news, I’ve decided that I’m going to start working through the dvd’s on my shelf alphabetically (hence the Gilliam), so expect to see a bunch of random titles starting with number over the next few entries. Yeah, I know, i’m a geek.

Here’s what was on tap…

Screenings
HARRY POTTER & THE DEATHLY HALLOWS pt. 2 – Heard of it?
MEEK’S CUTOFF – A dim screening of this movie will test your patience in ways you never knew.

Blu-Rays/DVD’s I’ve Never Seen
CRONOS – There’s not much Del Toro that I’ve yet to see, but this is one.
REPULSION – I’ve thought about buying the Criterion of this without seeing it first: It’s taken a lot of willpower not to.

Blu-Rays/DVD’s I’ve Watched Before
THE LAST WALTZ – The sort of film I could have on the TV daily
HELLBOY – How did I manage to skip this when it was in theatres?
12 MONKEYS – Note to self; rent LA JETEE
HARRY POTTER & THE DEATHLY HALLOWS pt. 1 – I was testing a theory; Turns out my theory was correct.
